General Surgery

There are many medical conditions that are treated by general surgeons. Most typically perform laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for problems such as hernias and gallstones. Consultants usually sub-specialise in different areas such as colorectal, upper GI, vascular and weight loss surgery.
