Your Visit

We understand that going into hospital is a daunting prospect so we make every effort to ensure that our patients feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

From the moment you arrive, you will be looked after by a team of health professionals who are dedicated to making sure you have everything you need and want. They will explain your treatment plan, discuss any options with you and answer your questions in plain English, without using technical terms or jargon.

All in-patients – those who stay overnight – have their own private room with en-suite bathrooms. While these rooms are equipped with all the clinical technology of a hospital, the comfortable beds, stylish décor and large feature windows give the feel of a luxury hotel.

While your privacy will always be respected, you will have regular visits from your medical team to check on your progress and discuss the next steps. And you will always be able to call someone from your bed if you need anything at any time of day or night.

Public transport links

The hospital is within easy walking distance from Hove and Brighton train stations. Both stations are a 15 minute walk from the hospital. If this is too far to walk, both stations and the hospital are on the number 7 bus route, with a service every 8 minutes and a 6 minute journey time from the stations to the hospital. Both train stations also serve other main bus routes that connect with the whole city. Details of the timetable and services can be found here: www.buses.co.uk

The hospital is located on Montefiore Road, which is part of the city's designated quiet roads cycle route.
