Professional Profile
Dr Ridha graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine with first class honours. He then obtained a post graduate Doctor of Medicine degree from Imperial College London focusing on both diagnostic tools for the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease and potential novel treatments. He has worked as a Consultant Neurologist at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals for 10 years. In addition to working as a general neurologist, he has particularly supported motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis and headaches services including the establishment of a dedicated botulinum toxin injection clinic for the treatment of chronic migraine.
Dr Ridha also holds an honorary Consultant Neurologist and Senior Lecturer positions at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and University College London, where he supports the conduct of clinical trials looking for potential treatments for Alzheimer’s disease.
Dr Ridha very much enjoys year-round outdoor swimming in Brighton. He loves travelling in search of the perfect beach. Enjoys learning foreign languages and is currently learning Spanish.
