Professional Profile
Mr Shaik qualified as a doctor in 2000, completed basic surgical training in Scotland and further surgical training in Oswestry and West Midland and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2016, completed his Masters in Trauma and Orthopaedics-ChM, from University of Edinburgh. He has over two years of specialist fellowship training, one of this is recognised by British Orthopaedic Association, and lead to award for Level 7 certification in Leadership and Strategic Management
He is currently working as a substantive consultant in Brighton and Sussex University hospital with sub speciality interest in lower limb trauma, knee, foot and ankle. Mr Shaik has been a consultant since 2017 and a consolidated experience of 14 years in trauma and orthopaedics, which includes working in tertiary hospitals covering complex orthopaedic cases .He regularly sees and treats both simple and complex foot and ankle cases.
He is currently Lead foot and ankle surgeon and member of British Foot and Ankle society, British orthopaedic Association and MDDUS.

Mr Shaik is married with three kids, and spends quality time with his family.
He enjoys Judo katas, ex-judo national player and in his spare time he works on foot work both on and off the mat.
