"I have worked at the Montefiore for 3 years I am a ward sister and also the infection control lead for the hospital. In my infection control role I work closely with the Director of Clinical Services and I make sure that the hospital is compliant with infection control policies and procedures and maintaining the high standards of cleanliness we have across the hospital, also making sure staff are also compliant with Infection control aspects of their roles.
I work predominately on the inpatient ward, looking after patients before and after surgery. I also help support the ward manager.

What I like about my job: I really enjoy my job and the role that I have.Every day I will be doing something different. It is nice to know that I will be making a difference to someone else's day. My colleagues are supportive and we have an amazing team at the Montefiore which makes it a special place to work!"
