Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon David Redfern has been internationally recognised for developing minimally invasive techniques in foot and ankle surgery.

Mr Redfern and his French collaborator have worked with industry to develop and refine numerous minimally invasive surgical techniques over the last 10 years which have now been used in more than 50,000 procedures across the world. Their minimally invasive surgery techniques have been shown to dramatically reduce pain after surgery compared to traditional open techniques.
