Breast screening and cancer
Checking your breasts regularly and having a breast screening helps with early detection for breast cancer. It is important to see your GP or a breast specialist if you notice a lump or any changes of concern with your breasts.
We are able to offer diagnosis related to any concerns through investigations such as mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy. If a breast lump needs to be treated, your surgeon will suggest the best course of treatment going forward.
In cases of breast cancer, you may need further treatment such as chemotherapy after surgery. Our breast surgeons are supported by our Consultant Oncologists and chemotherapy team who will make sure that you get the right treatment.
Cosmetic breast surgery
Cosmetic procedures are provided by select breast surgeons and our cosmetic and plastic surgeons.
