Our Varicose Vein Assessment Clinic is a for self-funding patients who wish to have their varicose veins seen and scanned by our experts so that they can recommended the best treatment on how to remove them.
What does the clinic provide?
Our one-stop assessment includes:
- A consultation with our Consultant Vascular Surgeon Mr Karim El Sakka.
- A Doppler ultrasound scan from specialist vascular scientist Dr Darren Cheal.
- An immediate follow-up with Mr El Sakka to discuss your scan results and treatment options.
After this appointment, you will be provided with fixed price quote for your recommended treatment(s) and you will be given the opportunity to book the treatment at a time that suits you if you wish to proceed.
How much does an assessment cost?
The cost of a varicose vein assessment is £300.
The cost for treating your varicose veins varies depending on what procedure is recommended after your assessment.
Do I need a referral?
We are happy to see patients without a referral from their GP.
What treatments can be recommended after the assessment?
We offer both invasive and non-invasive treatments for varicose veins including:
- Foam Sclerotherapy
- Radiofrequency ablation
- Surgical vein stripping
The cost of your recommended treatment can vary depending on your individual needs. Once your treatment options have been discussed, the hospital will be able to provide you with a quote for your treatment.
