Professional Profile
I started medical school at Imperial College, London in 1994. I took a gap year in 1997 to study pathology, and applied physiology as part of an intercalated BSc and was awarded1st class honours.
I qualified as a doctor in 2000 (MB BS). Following house jobs I started core medical training completed on Guy's and St Thomas' Medical and Critical Care rotations.
Prior to starting formal cardiology training I undertook a period of research (MD) undertaken at Kings College, London in vascular biology and cardiovascular risk.
Cardiology training was undertaken on the London and South Thames training program.
After 3 years of general cardiology I started subspecialty training in coronary and structural heart intervention at Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
Prior to completing my training, I undertook an International interventional fellowship in coronary and structural heart intervention at Royal North|Shore Hospital, Sydney, Australia.

Personal Profile
I am married with two young boys. Outside of work I enjoy DIY, sailing, surfing and snowboarding.
