Professional Profile

Consultant Endocrinologist and General Physician with well established private practice in Spire Gatwick Park Hospital, Horley and The Montefiore Hospital, Hove. Full Time NHS Consultant in Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust. Completed Specialist training in London/KSS Deanery and later awarded Fellow of Royal College of Physicians (FRCP). Sees patients with all types of endocrine and diabetes and general medical conditions, but has special interest in Thyroid, adrenal, hyperparathyroidism, neuroendocrine lesions, hyponatremia, PCOS and obesity. Also sees patients with general medical problems, in particular unexplained fatigue. Has patients from across the country and abroad and prides in treating patients holistically. Did period of research in Guildford in Gut hormones and insulin related weight gain. Has published extensively and presented in national and international meetings. Lectures regularly in UK and abroad. Plays an important role in academic training and teaching and is Programme Director for Foundation Doctors in Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust.
