Professional Profile

I bring a friendly and professional approach to my clinical practice, and hold a substantive ENT Consultant post at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Trust at The Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and at Worthing hospital. My scope of clinical practice covers all areas of Adult and Paediatric Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery and I have a specialist interest in Voice and Airway Disorders including occupational voice users and professional singers. I graduated from Brighton & Sussex Medical School and completed specialist Higher Surgical Training Kent Sussex & Surrey Deanery, including subspecialist training in Paediatric ENT at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children.

I am the ENT Clinical Educational Lead at UHS NHS Trust, overseeing the training and clinical development of the junior ENT surgical team. I am a faculty member for the Masters Programme in Surgical Sciences at The Brighton & Sussex Medical School, as well as the International Brighton Endoscopic Orbital & Lacrimal Surgical Dissection Course.

I have a clinical interest in nasal and sinus surgery. I am a member of the Facial Pain MDT at UHS NHS Trust, and work in collaboration with Eye surgeons at the Sussex Eye Hospital in the management of complex eye and lacrimal cases with endoscopic trans-nasal surgery.

In addition to my clinical work, I have published over 35 publications in peer review medical and surgical journals, and have presented research at national and international academic meetings and conferences in across Europe, America and the Middle East. I was awarded a full scholarship for his Masters degree (MCh) in surgery, for which I obtained a distinction.

Personal Profile

I enjoy spending my spare time exploring the Sussex coast and the South Downs with my wife and two young children, and am a keen alpine winter and summer sports enthusiast.
