Professional Profile
Dr Santhosh Narat graduated from India and came to the UK in 1996. After taking MRCP, he completed haematology specialist training in London, attending prestigious institutions such as Royal Free Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital and UCLH.
Dr Narat started as a Consultant in hammersmith in 2005 and the joined Western Sussex Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2006, mainly based in Worthing Hospital.
He is currently clinical lead for chemotherapy at Worthing Hospital and Lead Clinician for blood transfusion at Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He is also the Principal Investigator for a number of clinical trials in Haematology.
Dr Santhosh Narat lists haematology including treatment of lymphoma, leukaemia, myeloma, disorders of red cells and thrombosis and haemostasis as his interests. Thrombophilia screening and peri-operative optimisation of anaemia and thrombosis reduction are his other areas of interest.
