Professional Profile
I am an experienced medical oncology physician who manages patients with breast and kidney malignancies. I have started medical school in Iraq 2000 and graduated in 2006. Since then, had all my medical training in the United Kingdom, trained at leading academic institutions, such as University College London Hospitals, Guy’s, St Thomas’ Addenbrooke’s hospital, and St George’s hospital.
I have finished my medical oncology training in 2022 and have been working since then as a medical oncology consultant at the Royal Surrey County Hospital and East Surrey Hospital. I am currently the clinical lead for chemotherapy at Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. I have an extensive experience in early and late-phase clinical trials, serving as a sub-investigator on numerous oncology studies. I hold an MSc from the Institute of Cancer Research focusing on genetic mutations in cancer.
I have a special interest in public education, and have contributed in various public event in the UK and abroad, explaining to people about cancer and its management.
