Mr Mohammed Amer is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise across the full range of hip conditions, from hip preservation in young adults through to primary and complex revision hip replacement surgery. 

Mr Amer holds a substantive consultant position at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, where he is also part of the regional specialist team responsible for managing complex pelvic and acetabular trauma, as well as revision hip arthroplasty cases.

Mr Amer's practice includes muscle-sparing total hip replacement, hip arthroscopy, periacetabular osteotomy, and gluteal and hamstring tendon repair and reconstruction. Mr Amer treats a variety of hip-related conditions, including hip arthritis, dysplasia, femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), and labral tears.
