"I have been working at the Montefiore for 6 years. I work mainly on the ward as a Senior Staff Nurse, admitting patients to the ward and looking after them following their surgery. I also spend one day a week in Pre-assessment clinic where I will assess patients to ensure they are fit for surgery and give them all the information they need to ensure they are prepared when they come in.

What I like about my job: I love my job, I meet so many interesting people and work with a fantastic team. I particularly like it when I get to look after a patient I have pre-assessed on the ward, I think the continuity of care works really well and the patients get to see a familiar face when they come in for surgery"
