Matthew Bloomer, our Finance Director, shares with us a quick reflection over the past 10 years working at The Montefiore Hospital.

“From my initial interview at the Sussex Cricket Club, the early days of the hospital being a building site and recruiting a myriad of different staff, I knew the Montefiore wasn’t going to be an ordinary job. The job is certainly not like any other accountant job I’ve had before and the health care industry certainly keeps you on your toes. It’s been an immense challenge over the 10 years, full of highs and a few lows. By working together we have made the hospital both a clinical and financial success,  plus a great place to work. Long may it continue”.
