Oral and Maxillofacial
Oral and Maxillofacial is the branch of surgery that treats diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and teeth.
As well as being qualified doctors, maxillofacial surgeons are also qualified dentists and have extensive training in many disciplines ranging from extraction of teeth, dental implants, cosmetic procedures, bone grafting, jaw joint conditions, facial pain and cancer.
The Montefiore Hospital has an expert team of consultant maxillofacial surgeons and specialised nursing staff, so you can be confident that you are in expert, caring hands.
Should you need an operation, we have two clean air flow theatres, called laminar flow, to ensure that the surgery is carried out in a sterile environment.
If your treatment requires an overnight stay you will be given your own private room with en-suite facilities. Visitors are welcome at any time.
Our services are available to all, whether you are privately insured or you are paying for your own treatment. If the latter, we can offer a private treatment for a fixed price agreed in advance.
